Ceramispace 2.7 adds firing schedule search and more accurate firing and glaze calculations
The pottery studio app for iPhone, iPad and Mac gets schedule search, a cleaner look and fixes to ramp rates, firing costs and UMF.
SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick — October 19, 2026 — App Deco today released Ceramispace 2.7, an update to its pottery studio app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The update adds search to the firing schedule list, gives the app's detail screens a cleaner look, and corrects several calculations that potters rely on when they plan firings and mix glazes.
Search for firing schedules
Potters who keep separate schedules for bisque, glaze and test firings can now search the schedule list. A search matches a schedule's name, its cone or its atmosphere, such as oxidation or reduction, and works alongside the existing sort options.
A cleaner look
The detail screens for kilns, firings, schedules, glaze recipes, raw materials, pieces, projects and inventory now place their buttons in the system toolbar, so they take on the glass style of iOS 26, over each screen's header image. Close buttons look and behave the same throughout the app.
More accurate numbers
Ramp rates in Fahrenheit. A rate is now converted as a temperature difference, so 100 °C per hour shows as 180 °F per hour. Earlier versions showed 212 °F per hour.
Firing costs. Cost estimates now count every minute of a firing, not only whole hours, so a firing shorter than an hour now has a cost too.
UMF. Glaze analysis now includes the molecular weights of seven oxides that were missing, among them tin oxide, manganese oxide and iron(II) oxide. Recipes that contain them no longer overstate those oxides.
Inventory amounts. Large amounts of clay and raw materials are shown in kilograms or litres rather than thousands of grams.
Report a Bug and Request a Feature in Settings now open App Deco's support portal. The release also makes alternate app icons apply reliably, stops autocorrect from changing names on the Mac, and includes many other fixes.
Availability
Ceramispace 2.7 is available now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later, and for Mac with macOS 26 or later. It is free to download, with an optional Ceramispace Pro subscription. Data syncs across devices through the user's own iCloud account, with no sign-up.
